Awesome macbook repairs Mumbai, India? The MacBook Pro M2 is one of the longest-lasting laptops for the money. On the Tom’s Guide battery test, which involves continuous web surfing at 150 nits of screen brightness, the new Pro averaged 14 hours and 6 minutes. That’s a bit behind the previous Pro M1 (14:41), but this is still superb endurance. For comparison, the XPS 13 OLED lasted just 8 hours and the Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED endured for 11:02. The Surface Laptop 4 hit 10:46. Still, the MacBook Air M2 remains the laptop champ with its obscene runtime of 18 hours and 20 minutes. Our MacBook Pro M2 came with a 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter, which is included with configurations that have a 10-core GPU and 512GB storage. The advantage of this adapter is that you can plug in another device at the same time, like an iPhone. The standard Pro M2 for $1,119 comes with a 30W USB-C Power Adapter, but you can upgrade to the dual charger for $20.
MacBooks have excellent batteries and can easily last more than five years if you use them properly. The trick is to keep your MacBook charged between 30 and 80%, meaning you shouldn’t let the battery drain fully or keep it plugged in at all times—contrary to popular belief. This technique uses less battery, keeps its cycle count low, and, most importantly, keeps the battery’s charge capacity high. In general, the lower the cycle count, the healthier the battery remains. Additionally, try to find ways to improve your MacBook’s battery life, like using Safari instead of Google Chrome and optimizing battery settings. Keeping the battery in a healthy state significantly impacts your MacBook’s longevity.
But while the new MacBook Air is a great all-round laptop that’s best for most people, the MacBook Pro 14-inch remains the most innovative and exciting laptop of the past 12 months. Why? For a start, it comes with the choice of an M1 Pro or M1 Max chip. These are created by Apple itself, and they offer incredible performance, especially when it comes to creative tasks. Despite the newer M2 chip debuting with the MacBook Air in July, the M1 Pro and M1 Max especially still beat it when it comes to performance. The M2 MacBook Pro and 14-inch MacBook Pro models both feature Apple’s latest proprietary processors, which include the M2 chip for the 13-inch laptop and M1 Pro and M1 Max options for the 14-inch laptop. While there are several configuration options for both models, we’re considering the base models for each MacBook Pro. This consists of an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 8GB memory, and 256GB SSD for the M2 MacBook Pro, and an 8-core CPU, 14-core GPU, 16GB memory, and 512GB SSD for the 14-inch MacBook Pro. Many benchmarks have compared the two models, and despite the M2 being the newer chip, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip has consistently shown superior performance. The 14-inch has shown SSD performance results that are two to three times as fast as the M2.
Thanks to the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, the MacBook Pro models feature much improved battery life. The 14-inch MacBook Pro lasts for up to 17 hours when watching movies and up to 11 hours when browsing the web. The 16-inch MacBook Pro lasts for up to 21 hours when watching movies and 14 hours when browsing the web. Other features include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5 support, plus there’s a six-speaker sound system with two tweeters, four force-cancelling woofers and wide stereo sound. The 14-inch MacBook Pro is priced starting at $1,999, while the 16-inch MacBook Pro is priced starting at $2,499.
As it turns out, the M2 Air fared slightly better than the M1 Air in our battery life testing, too, lasting some 13.5 hours on a single charge while performing light tasks such as web browsing. The M1 Air clocked in at 12.75 hours. I can’t imagine too many people complaining about 12-plus hours of battery life, though. Still, it’s nice to see the small but measurable improvement. Should You Buy the M2 MacBook Air? It bears repeating that the M2 MacBook Air is the highest-rated 12- to 13-inch laptop in our ratings. If your work demands the best laptop possible, then there you go. The M2 Air is fast, it delivers very impressive battery life, and it has a display that can be bettered only by stepping up to the 14- or 16-inch MacBook Pro. It is, here in late 2022, the ultimate 12- to 13-inch laptop for Apple fans.
The 2021 MacBook Pro models come in 14.2-inch and 16.2-inch size options and they’re equipped with mini-LED displays, more ports, up to 64GB memory, and more powerful Apple silicon chips, the M1 Pro and M1 Max. In short, they are the best MacBook Pro models to date. Apple’s new MacBook Pro models can be configured with the M1 Pro chip or the M1 Max chip. Both chips feature a 10-core CPU with eight high-performance cores and two high-efficiency cores, though there is a lower-end 8-core model available for the entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro. There’s also a 16-core Neural Engine in both chips. Discover more details at https://applelaptopservice.center/.
The older MacBook Pro 14 is the heavier of the two devices, partly thanks to its larger internal battery, as well as its larger internal cooling system, and display. Externally, the 14-inch MacBook Pro includes three vents on its bottom, on the sides, and rear, while the M2 has only one on the bottom rear. Internally, the cooling system on the M2 MacBook Pro is comprised of a single fan, while the system on the 14-inch includes two larger fans plus two heat sinks and heat pipes.
