Devil’s Pool – Swim on the Edge of Victoria Falls: Splash in a rock pool on the very edge of Victoria Falls! This exciting and unique Vic Falls activity is definitely one of the best. You can take a guided trip to Devil’s Pool from the Zambian side of Vic Falls (see Livingstone tour departures). This is one of the best spots for marvelling at Vic Falls. Plus, splashing in the pool is a thrilling and invigorating way to admire the natural wonder. The Devil’s Pool activity is only done during the dry season (from about September to December) and/or when water levels are low enough for swimming. You take a boat to Livingstone Island (Zambia) above Vic Falls and from there you walk over rocks and swim to get to Devil’s Pool. Once at the pool on the precipice you need to jump in from the rocks above it. The guides help keep you safe and can hold onto your legs as you lie over the rocky wall on the edge, peering into the misty gorge below. The drop from Devil’s Pool is over 100 metres, so this activity isn’t for the faint-hearted!

Montage Palmetto Bluff : This sprawling estate in Carolina Lowcountry provides a one-of-a-kind experience that uniquely blends southern history and almost otherworldly natural beauty: rivers, misty marshes, old oaks draped with wispy Spanish moss, and salty breezes. The main hotel building looks like a classic southern mansion, and the 50 Cottages and Cottage Suites are simultaneously homey and utterly luxurious, with working fireplaces, screen porches, and gorgeous bathrooms. The multi-bedroom Village Homes are also luxurious, but lack some of the nuances of the cottages. Guests can enjoy a range of recreational facilities, including golf, bicycling, tennis, croquet, kayaking, and swimming (in the two pools), and the luxury spa is highly acclaimed. It’s not an overstatement to say that the Montage Palmetto Bluff is one of the most special properties in the entire country. Kenya safari advice : Kenya is the country where you must come to discover the richest African wildlife. When you get to Masai Mara National Park, you just have to turn your head and immediately you will encounter an antelope, a giraffe, a zebra. But Kenya has many more national parks that are not the same – each with its own specificity. The coasts of the Indian Ocean have that fine white sand and big, green phosphorescence that every European dreams about, especially when in the old continent it is cold and sad. Along the coast (as in Tanzania), an extremely rich civilization developed from the contact between Arab merchants and locals of color. The historical traces can be found in Mombassa, but especially in Lamu, this traditional small town, isolated for centuries on an island not far from the border with Somalia.
Encounter a side of unseen Italy in the undisturbed region of Abruzzo. Medieval castles remain strong, overlooking a valley of lush vines. The Apennine Mountains form extraordinary backdrops to historic hillside towns. Fishermen continue using ancient fishing techniques along the coastline. Shepherds traverse the undulating landscape, faithfully following their flock. Farms produce an abundance of flavorful cheeses, and vineyards make inspiring wines. Your custom tailored Italy tour immerses you in historical culture set in a divine landscape where the mountains meet the eastern shore.
San Francisco church and its monastery are most famous for their catacombs containing the bones of about 10,000 people interred here when this was Lima’s first cemetery. Below the church is a maze of narrow hallways, each lined on both sides with bones. In one area, a large round hole is filled with bones and skulls arranged in a geometrical pattern, like a piece of art. If Mass is in progress upstairs, the sound reverberates eerily through the catacombs. Visiting these is not for those who are claustrophobic, as ceilings are low and doorways between chambers are even lower, requiring people to duck when entering. But the catacombs are at the end of a tour of the church, so you can skip them. There is much more to see here. The library, on the upper level, has thousands of antique books, and the monastery has an impressive collection of religious art. It is best known for a mural of the Last Supper showing the apostles dining on guinea pig, with a devil standing next to Judas. The San Francisco church and monastery were consecrated in 1673 and it is one of the city’s best preserved colonial churches, having withstood the earthquakes of 1687 and 1746, although it did suffer extensive damage in a quake in 1970.
Cuisinart Golf Resort and Spa in Anguilla: Majestic and splendid CuisinArt Golf and Resort Spa is our primary lead on the list.
